Nature

" Nothing's wrong in CTS. Be creative. Be innovative. "

ASSIGNMENT 3

We were required to from a team with a maximum up to 10 members and to present an idea borne out of two statements concerning nature.

Statement 1: Everything originated from nature is original and natural. "

Statement 2: Everything synthetic using nature is still original and natural.

Once the statement is chosen, we must demonstrate our support to the selected statement through a wearable medium. We were to brainstorm and map out our ideas on a white cotton t-shirt. Each member should have a t-shirt and should have elements of team identity. This t-shirt must be worn for the presentation.

FINAL ASSIGNMENT

We were to design a wearable element for a model based on assignment 3.

The Awkard Melons

Process

We came out with 3 main points to support the statement:
1. Every product manufactured by human body is still original and natural.
2. Every synthetic materials are originated from nature elements.
3. Artificial element that inserted in human body do not affected the originality of human.

Outcome

Supporting details for each pointsï¼›

1. Ideas - It is known as a synthetic material because it is a kind of product which been processed by our human brain with the adding of chemicals. Every ideas is unique and special that originated from an individual. This is reason why do we have copyrights.

2. Sources of synthetic materials - The primary sources of forming a product are extracted from nature.

3. Prosthesis - It is an artificial element that replaces the missing part of our body but it is still physically controlled by our human body. An individual that is inserted with prosthesis is still known by a natural human being.

Our Model

Actually we were very busy with our assignments those few weeks. The first thing came to our mind is FREEDOM. And what related to freedom is 'fly'. So we got our inspiration from a bird to design our model.

Materials that we used:

1. Cardboard

2. Super glue

3. Wooden Stick

4. Straw

5. Garland

6. String

7. Towel
